Giving back to the Community

Successful Speakers works to develop programs that support the community we serve. Our efforts range from supporting the John Maclean Foundation to bringing hope and joy to drought affected farmers and their families.

John Maclean Foundation

Successful Speakers proudly supports the John Maclean foundation with monthly donations from selected speaking engagements. The foundation's mission is "to inspire, motivate and enable physically challenged kids to chase their dreams and live life to the fullest".

John Maclean is Australia's most outstanding wheelchair athlete and has been inducted into the Hawaiian iron man hall of fame. But John still believes that the success of the foundation is his greatest achievement. Successful Speakers is proud to be associated with such a great Australian and a wonderful cause.

Farm Family Fun Days

Wanting to help raise the spirits of our drought affected farmers, Successful Speakers combined with the community group in Deniliquin NSW, to put together the "April Showers Farm Family Fun Day".

Successful Speakers organized some very talented Australians to perform live at the event including Doug Mulray, Bryan Brown, Peter Cousens, Ian Elliot, Vince Sorrenti, Toot the Clown and Jeff Gambin.

Successful Speakers also helped to coordinate donations from suppliers to provide a great lunch for everyone, and a private jet to fly the performers there for the day. Over 3,000 people came together to enjoy lunch and a concert at not cost. It was an inspiring and uplifting event with a strong message that there is support and care for those in need. Not long after the event "IT RAINED !".

A few months later with the magnificent support of Jeff Gambin and his "Just Enough Faith" supporters and volunteers were pleased to be back in Deniliquin to help stage 'Christmas in July". 6,000 people were fed, 3 500 kids received a wrapped present from Santa ( who bore a striking resemblance to Doug Mulray !).

Once again Successful Speakers were involved in getting great Australians to give their time to entertain and motivate, this time including Wayne Scott Kermond, Luke O'Connell, Toot and Stretch the clowns, Geordie Cocker and the Geordies, Jeff Gambin, Ian Elliot, Doug Mulray, Keith Armitage,
