Marcos left Australia in 1996 for England to chase his dream of winning the Formula 1 and quickly compiled an impressive list of wins. He out-qualified super car greats Jenson Button and Kimi Raikonnen and took pole position in the ’99 European Formula Ford Championship. Returning to Australia in 2001 Ford scooped him up for the V8 Supercar race and was well rewarded for their decision when Marcos took out the Australian Grand Prix. In 2006 he moved to race on the US circuit and is continuing his success.
