International Tennis Champion
Evonne is one of Australia’s pre-eminent sporting legends. She dominated the tennis circuit during the 1970’s, winning Wimbeldon, the French Open and the British Hard Court Championships in the same year. In 1972 she was awarded an MBE, and the Order of Australia ten years later, following up with induction into the International Tennis Hall of Fame. Today, Evonne actively facilitates Aboriginal access to sport through her Evonne Goolagong Cawley Trust, and works to increase female participation in tennis. |

Pru Goward, former Sex and Age Discrimination Commissioner and recipient of a Centenary Medal for services to journalism and women’s rights, is nominated as one of Australia’s top cultural and industrial relations influencers. Cricketing legend and charity founder.
Glenn McGrath led a stellar cricketing career, winning 3 World Cups, taking countless wickets, swept up an Alan Border Medal and earned a reputation as Australia’s premier fast bowler in his stride. Described as a passionate and determined competitor, the focus of John’s life became the battle against breast cancer with wife, Jane, and the subsequent establishment of the McGrath Foundation. Sadly, Jane lost her life in 2008. Glenn and his children continue their commitment to raising funds and awareness of this disease. |

James Bradfield Moody has amassed an impressive list of credentials in a very short space of time, and for such a young person. Armed with his PhD in innovation theory, James marched into prominence through a host of senior development roles. Currently a CSIRO General Manager, James leads their global development agenda, including creating research projects of international significance and helping Australia gain access to foreign knowledge, infrastructure and intellectual property. Peter Ritchie was the first employee of the McDonald's system outside North America. In 1973, Peter was appointed Managing Director Australia. During the 70s and 80s he played a major role in every aspect of the company’s development and later, under his leadership as Chief Executive, McDonald’s Australia grew to more than 500 stores and 50,000 employees. He is now a director of many blue chip Australian companies, including Seven Network, Mortgage Choice, Tennis Australia, 1800 Reverse and University of NSW foundation. |
