He has a tremendous grasp of world financial markets and their impact on our economy. He provides thought provoking opinions and tests the theories of our politicians and economists. Peter Ritchie was the first employee of the McDonald's system outside North America. In 1973, Peter was appointed Managing Director Australia. During the 70s and 80s he played a major role in every aspect of the company’s development and later, under his leadership as Chief Executive, McDonald’s Australia grew to more than 500 stores and 50,000 employees. He is now a director of many blue chip Australian companies, including Seven Network, Mortgage Choice, Tennis Australia, 1800 Reverse and University of NSW foundation. |
