She has represented her country for 20 years, winning a total of 5 world titles and 24 world cup wins. She has had to overcome so much adversity in her quest for success. Jacqui competed in the Vancouver Winter Olympics (February 2010) after a year of intense hip and knee rehabilitation; she shocked doctors and surgeons by her will, inner strength and courage to make a brave attempt to be competitive at those games. |

In just 189 days Kay Cottee sailed home to victory after circumnavigating the globe on a solo voyage that earned her the honour of being the first woman to do so. Kay overcame challenges and formidable odds on the 22,000 nautical mile journey, including whales, icebergs and breaking seas. Kay’s determination, motivation and skill ensured her survival and these qualities form the backbone of her inspirational presentation. |
