Shelley Barrett is the Ernst & Young 2005 Young Entrepreneur of The Year. Starting her own Model Management company at just 21 years of age She grew the business to representing over 1500 models, actors and TV talent, securing them work in Australia and around the world. 8 years into building one of the top 5 model agencies in Australia, Shelley recognized a gap in the beauty industry and in her typical tenacious fashion went for it.

In 2002 Shelley launched ModelCo beauty products with just one innovative item. By 2007 she has over 130 products in the ModelCo range sold through some of the worlds most prestigious beauty stores, including David Jones in Australia, Printemps and Collette in Paris, Henri Bendel, Sephora and Victoria’s Secret in the USA, Space NK in the UK and Villa Moda in the Middle East. Retail sales will reach 20 million dollars this year.
