| Darren Flanagan |
The Beaconsfield Hero
Beaconsfield miners Todd Russell and Brant Webb have a team of rescuers to thank for their lives; none more so than Darren Flanagan. Emotions charged to the limits Darren was acutely aware of the pressure he carried. For 29 hours straight Darren slowly carved his path to within 300mm (one foot) of the trapped men by firing explosives. The world had never seen a rescue of this kind before. The moving story of this humble hero is both inspirational and courageous. |

| Tim Pethick |
Nudie Juice founder; achieved $18m turnover in two years
Imagine Tim Pethick’s delight when, after just two years in business, his fresh juice brand Nudie turned over $18m. The business savvy entrepreneur launched Nudie for two reasons: to indulge his fresh fruit cravings and to demonstrate the power of emotional branding. Nudie’s stampeding success was recognised with it’s inclusion in the top 10 most influential brands for the Asia Pacific region. Described as a “disruptive brand”, a devastating fire to the Nudie processing plant in 2004 was not enough to halt its epic journey, and Nudie resumed production just six weeks later. |

Antarctic Expedition Leader
Rachael Robertson had the unique honour of leading a 12 month expedition to the Antarctic’s Davis Station, and is only the second female to do so. No ordinary leadership role, Rachael shares her leadership and team building experiences of a group of 18 people she barely knew faced with 9 months in isolation together, whilst juggling the responsibilities of her role in the highest, driest, coldest and windiest place on earth. The photo images are breathtaking.
