Television Presenter

Andrew Daddo came back to Australia in 1992 and spent time at the Nine Network as Professor Plum, before moving to the Seven Network in 1995. That year, he hosted Australia's Funniest People, World's Greatest Commercials and TV WEEK Logie Awards.

In 1999, Andrew co-hosted Kidspeak with Ernie Dingo - a funny and candid insight into the things children do say. From there he took up the position of co-anchor on the Seven Network's 11AM which continued until mid-2000, when Olympic fever took hold of him and the Network. Andrew co-hosted the Olympic early morning program Olympic Sunrise with Johanna Griggs - revelling in the early morign wake up calls.

For a guy who had no idea what he wanted to do out of university, Andrew Daddo has managed to do a fair bit. He has been a regular face and voice in the Australian media for over 25 years, doing everything from kids TV to MTV to Carols in the Domain.  For a long time Andrew was part of the Great Outdoors and also presented shows at two Olympic Games for the Seven network, along with television specials including World’s Greatest Commercials and Kids Say the Darndest Things.

Andrew has written for the Sun Herald, Golf Digest and had a very enjoyable stint doing Evenings on 702ABC Sydney. Most recently, he has been providing voiceovers for The Apprentice Australia.

Andrew considers his most significant achievement to be his work as an author.  Not only has he written over twenty books for children, but he travels Australia spreading the literacy word.

Testimonials

So great to work with, very personable and approachable. Injected his own personality and humour into the MC role and covered off everything we asked him to. Would definitely have him again at one of our events. A great fit for our event too!
QBE Australia

Andrew was great in the way he worked the room, and really owned the MC role. He was very approachable, and made the room get excited for the game, and really get into it. He was also great with the kids in the room, and ensured they enjoyed the match as much as the adults!
