She has interviewed athletes and personalities from a variety of sports throughout the past year – including, Harry Kewell, Lucas Neill, Mark Schwarzer, John Kosmina, Kevin Muscat, Mark Ella, Richie Benaud, Shane Warne and Ian Thorpe.

Before joining Nine Stephanie hosted the FIFA World Cup highlights show on SBS Television and established herself as the one to watch in sport.

Stephanie originally joined the SBS Sports team back in 2000 working on a program of the time - On the Ball.

After secondment as a press assistant during the Sydney 2000 Games, Stephanie went on to further her studies, by way of a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Complementary Medicine and media training, before returning to On the Ball in 2002.

A self-confessed 'sport nut', Stephanie, who is of Dutch heritage and grew up in Brisbane, represented Queensland at State level competition in netball, basketball and swimming and athletics before launching a modelling career that orchestrated a move to Sydney.

Stephanie modelled for more than 15 years, appearing in major magazine campaigns and TV commercials.

Stephanie is in demand for MC and speaking roles. Her recent work includes hosting functions for Football Federation Australia, Sydney FC, NSW Waratahs, Sydney Roosters, the Sydney Cricket Ground Trust and other corporate client related events

A passionate football fan, Stephanie spends much of her spare time watching the game at all levels - from the international leagues to A-League games and her son’s club matches.

Stephanie was fantastic, ultimate professional.
St Marys Rugby League Club

“Stephanie was fabulous! Gorgeous, friendly and captivating, Stephanie spoke with clear confidence and her knowledge on sports and the ‘big race’ added to her ability to hold the attention of guests, which in the past has proved difficult for some. Stephanie, of her own accord, included details of the event, names of our promotional team etc which made for a personalized delivery. I would highly recommend Stephanie and want to lock her in for 2010"!

“Stephanie was very professional & totally easy to deal with in the lead up to the event. Her performance on the day was perfect. She controlled a loud, & raucous rugby luncheon crowd of 400 as well as anyone could have; her MC role was delivered brilliantly, and she approached the interviews & quiz section with a journalistic mindset that generated extremely interesting content to be garnered from our guests. Feedback has been awesome, with many saying this was the best rugby lunch they had ever attended, and that’s saying something, as this was a hardened group of lunching veterans"!
