Journalist, author and broadcaster, Max Walsh has covered the relationships between politics, business and economics for over four decades. His significant contribution to journalism is recognised with an Order of Australia and is shared with audiences through several media channels. Max facilitated the launch of Nine Network’s Sunday program, and was co-presenter of the ABC’s Carleton-Walsh Report.

Walsh's career has encompassed positions with two of Australia's largest publishing companies and three television networks.
He was editor and managing editor of The Australian Financial Review.
He helped establish Channel Nine's Sunday program and he co-hosted the Carleton-Walsh Report for the ABC before moving to Channel 10 as the anchor of The Walsh Report.
From 1983 to 1998 Walsh was a highly respected economic and political correspondent for The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age. He is author of the book, Poor Little Rich Country - A Political History of the1970's.
